Kevin Brady

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Kevin Brady is the CEO and Founder of ARMtech as well as a consultant to the Tax and Accounting division of ThomsonReuters. In January of 2008, Thomson Reuters acquired TaxStream, a software company founded by Kevin, which is dedicated to the tax accounting market. Prior to the acquisition, he served as Chief Executive Officer of TaxStream, providing product expertise and strategic direction for the company. Kevin was awarded a patent from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (No. 7627504) for the invention of the TaxStream product. Before the creation of TaxStream, Kevin helped found Annaly (NLY), currently traded on the New York Stock Exchange with a market capitalization of $ 6 billion. He has served as an independent director of Annaly since 1996 and has been chair of the audit committee for 9 years. Kevin worked in various accounting and tax positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1986 to 1994 and Merck from 1980 to 1986. Kevin holds a BA from McGill University, an MBA from New York University and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

Joe Banafato

Chief Technology Officer

Joe has held technology and engineering leadership roles in both large enterprises and entrepreneurial ventures across a wide range of industries, insurance, tax & accounting, defense, ecommerce, and media. Prior to assuming day-to-day duties at ARMtech, Joe was a Principal at Boken Group, a provider of technology reorganization and exigency response services. Previous executive experience includes service as CTO, Chief Enterprise Architect, and VP Engineering.

In 2008, Joe joined Thomson Reuters as Director of Technology following its 2008 acquisition of TaxStream, a leading provider of international tax solutions software, where he was Director of Engineering and Chief Architect from 2005-2008. At TaxStream, Joe built out and led product development, designing the company's core software offerings and fostering emerging technologies, including the company's first Software as a Service application.

Prior to 2005, Joe held various industrial engineering, software development, and operations roles at firms including United Parcel Service (UPS) and Custom Production Manufacturing.

In addition to his role at ARMtech, Joe provides ongoing advisory services to startups in the U.S. and U.K. He studied computer science at Stevens Institute of Technology.

Joshua Lurie

Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Prior to joining ARMtech Joshua co-founded Soundboard Services, a Board advisory service. Prior to founding Soundboard he was VP of Business Development at Salary.com, a leading provider of on-demand compensation, payroll, and talent management solutions. Prior to working at Salary.com Joshua was VP of Compensation Consulting at Aon Consulting, where he managed the eComp Data Services business, an executive compensation firm, which he founded and sold to Aon Consulting in 2001. At Aon he developed and managed many Fortune 500 client relationships. Joshua is considered a pioneer in bringing CEO Compensation benchmark information directly to corporate desktops by developing eComp, the first web-based executive compensation proxy database covering over 10,000 publicly traded companies. He has authored several articles on executive compensation trends as well as the book The Executive Compensation Report: “A Comprehensive Industry Sector Analysis” published by Aspen Publishers from 2005-2007.

John Sabochick

Director, Best Practices

Prior to joining ARMtech, John was one of the first employees at the start-up TaxStream, a tax provision company, which ultimately sold to Thomson Reuters in 2008 when it had over 60% of the Fortune 500 and the top ten accounting firms subscribing to its services. John was a key member in designing the equity compensation solution, now ARMtech, while at TaxStream. After the acquisition, ARMtech became independent and John has continued to help design ARMtech's banking (Process+) and equity compensation (EquiLink) solutions. John specializes in process improvement consulting, defining best practices for clients' equity compensation needs.

Kevin Pipchick

Director, Client Services

Kevin has been with ARMtech for four years and has contributed to the development of ARMtech's banking (Process+) and equity compensation (EquiLink) solutions. Since 2009, Kevin has successfully supported and managed implementation of the EquiLink solution for Fortune 500 companies, focusing on complex systems integration and calculation reconciliations. Kevin's client services role has directly contributed to new enhancements for the EquiLink solution.
